Abstract

Aim: To develop questionnaire which measure knowledge of early intervention in developmental delay among parents  in the questionnaire form and its content validation .

Method: Professional experts like pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric physiotherapists, and early intervention therapists. To know how much of knowledge regarding early intervention, parents are expressive. Developing the question and validating the questionnaires. Members from the regional level, national and international levels were in the content validation process and suggested and rated the questionnaires. The question was sent through the mail and got the reply focusing group to establish the content validity. Knowledge about Early intervention in development delays questionnaires contains about 45 questions. Each question was validated on the content validity of maximum score of 100%.

Conclusion:   Valid score of content was accepted for the questionnaire which   each of questionnaire has the latent to evoke knowledge respect the necessarily and potential unfilled services detected in the childhood developmental delay and the importance of early intervention among the parents.
