Abstract

One of the problems of modern diabetology is the prevention of complications of diabetes mellitus. Its relevance is determined by the fact that, despite the high quality of drugs used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus and the creation of a system of diabetic care, the level of disability and mortality of patients does not significantly decrease [1]. Type 1 diabetes mellitus is an autoimmune disease in which selective damage to beta cells of the pancreas leads to absolute insulin deficiency. By the time of the manifestation of type 1 diabetes, about 90% of the beta cells of the pancreas have already died.
