Abstract

introduction

Nicotine addiction is one of the major problems in developing countries like India. It has a direct influence on one as well as one's family‘s health and people surrounding them. India is that home for 12% of the world smokers workers represent half of the world's population and therefore the major contributors of economic and social development

Methodology

A sample size of 316 was connected with the study population of construction workers said the starting was Kandivali East Mumbai to different scales was use HAMD and Fagerstrome nicotine dependence on a scale

Results

SPSS version 23 was used and the P value was less than 0.05. Chi Square test was used to check the association between variables.

Conclusion

The study can be used to give us some correlation between nicotine dependence, working hours in depression among construction workers.By the end the researchers found that higher nicotine dependence means higher level on the depression scale. Nicotine dependency could also be due to long working hours in individual .there should be recognition of construction sites as a workplaces and proper implementation of laws is needed to reduce the nicotine dependence on among construction workers and other
