The issue of agricultural education is a significant concern for agricultural educators, particularly those seeking to improve instruction in vocational institutions. Since they are viewed as crucial to affecting change; a lecturer who can apply critical thinking in their daily lives will be able to instil the same value in their pupils. As a result, education may now be utilised to transform the image of agriculture. The purpose of this research is to identify the construct and sub-construct of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) that require for agriculture lecturers at a vocational college. To address research objectives, this study employed a qualitative technique in which experts were interviewed. To transfer HOTS, the lecturer should be instilled with the construct and sub-construct that contribute to the development of HOTS in the subject presented.
