THE INFLUENCE OF HYGIENE COUNSELING ON CLEAN LIFE BEHAVIOR AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION IN SKB PACKAGE C IN BOGOR DISTRICT

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of Hygiene Counseling on Clean Living Behavior and its implications for Environmental Sanitation in SKB Package C, Bogor Regency. This research method uses descriptive and verification analysis with a quantitative approach. The source of this research uses primary data. This research data collection using a questionnaire. The sample of this research was 90 participants of SKB Package C Bogor Regency using saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Hygiene Counseling on Clean Living Behavior, where the Hygiene Extension variable has a total effect of 81.2% on Clean Living Behavior. There is a positive and significant influence between Counseling on Hygiene and Clean Living Behavior on Environmental Sanitation, where Counseling on Hygiene has a total effect of 39.8% while Clean Living Behavior has a total effect of 47.9% on Environmental Sanitation. Based on the results of the Sobel test, it was found that there was an effect of Hygiene Counseling on Environmental Sanitation through Clean Living Behavior in SKB Package C Bogor Regency, where the indirect effect of Hygiene Counseling on Environmental Sanitation through Clean Living Behavior was 20.6%.
