Abstract

The effectiveness of pharmacotherapy for chronic gastritis has a direct effect on the intensity of metabolism of first-line drugs - proton pump inhibitors, where the genetic feature of the patient plays an important role as a source of interindividual differences in the metabolic processes of pharmacological substances. The basis of an individual response to drugs used in pharmacotherapy is an understanding of the influence of genetic factors. This fact gives doctors and researchers hope for the introduction of modern methods of personification of pharmacotherapy and maximum reduction of the risk of side effects of drugs.
