Historical Stages of Teaching Fine Arts in Schools of Uzbekistan

Abstract

The article provides information on the stages of development of Uzbek national visual art from ancient times to the present day. It contains
information about various types and genres of fine art, great artists of the East, folk masters who created it. Also, the methodology of
teaching fine art in Uzbekistan since the twentieth century, the pedagogues who worked in the initial stages of its development, the current
teaching of fine art in general secondary educational institutions and higher education institutions, the development of the methodology are
highlighted.
