This article deals with the study of the impressive vocabulary of mentally retarded children of preschool age. The state of impressive vocabulary
of mentally retarded children of preschool age was studied. As a result, there is a need to develop a correctional-pedagogical work system to
increase the vocabulary of mentally retarded children of preschool age. Pedagogical recommendations for increasing the expressive vocabulary
of mentally retarded children of preschool age have been defined.
